Wynne Construction are looking for a Joiner/Carpenter to carry out a wide range of 1st, 2nd and final fix joinery activities across our construction projects. The role involves creating and installing structural and finishing elements integral to residential and commercial buildings, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Joinery, with proven experience in site-based joinery, you will demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver a high-quality finish in line with project specifications and programme requirements.
Role Information:
Undertaking 1st fix joinery including roof structures, joists and stud walls.
Carrying out 2nd fix joinery including kitchen fitting, installation of internal doors, skirting boards and architraves.
Completing final fix works including ironmongery, snagging, bath panels and kitchen plinths.
Working closely with the Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Operating machinery and tools safely and correctly, using all required safety devices and following company procedures.
Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies and site rules at all times.
Handling and storing materials in a safe and careful manner.
Maintaining clean and tidy work areas upon completion of tasks.
Reporting any health and safety concerns, accidents or near misses to the Site Manager.
Attending safety briefings and undertaking training as required by the Company.
Observing, assisting and supervising apprentice joiners to support their development and ensure quality standards are maintained.
