Studios Leavesden is looking for a passionate and hands-on PAT Tester to support our Set Lighting department. In this role, you'll help ensure our electrical equipment is safe and ready for action, whether it's heading out to a production or returning to the warehouse. You'll also be playing a key role in supporting the Lighting Warehouse team, assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment to keep productions running smoothly If you're ready to be part of the team that keeps the lights shining on some of the biggest productions in the world, we want to hear from you! Your Role Accountabilities - Conduct PAT Testing - carry out electrical safety tests according to established procedures and regulations. - Equipment Inspection - inspect electrical equipment for any signs of damage, wear, or defects that may affect electrical safety. - Documentation and Reporting - maintain accurate records of all PAT testing activities, including test results, dates, and any necessary documentation. - Bar code equipment and put WB identification markers on the equipment. - Report any damaged equipment to the Supervisor. - Maintain the warehouse. - Undertake stock takes. Qualifications & Experiences - Experience with manual handling lighting equipment and loading vehicles - Previous experience with Film and Television lighting equipment is advantageous. - Consistently looking to improve processes within all operations departments and across the company as a whole. - Knowledge of computer systems. Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a world-class film and TV studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. The purpose-built studio site is home to 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, an indoor water tank, and an extensive, clear-horizon backlot. WBSL includes the on-site production rentals business, Warner Bros. Set Lighting & Rigging, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding, and production supplies for stage and location shoots worldwide. In addition, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, based in London, provides picture and sound post-production services for film and TV, and has a dedicated Dailies department on the lot at WBSL. Warner Bros. Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for productions and is home to The WonderWorks, a bespoke childcare facility available to those working on site. With a range of services including an on-site gym, café, and wellbeing room, WBSL provides the perfect home for productions and has become the studio of choice for many filmmakers worldwide. Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
