About NTU: The Department of Computer Science resides within the School of Science and Technology on the Clifton Campus of Nottingham Trent University (NTU). The department comprises around 70 academic staff, ~25 PhD researchers, and large undergraduate and taught postgraduate cohorts. It provides an environment for high-quality, interdisciplinary work with strengths in Interactive Systems, Computational Intelligence, Pervasive Computing, and Cybersecurity.
Role overview: The position supports a five-year fixed-term, part-time 0.5 FTE contract for an Academic Associate in Computer Science with responsibilities including teaching and pursuing PhD study in relation to NTU’s Department of Computer Science. The role is hosted within the School of Science and Technology at NTU, with opportunities for collaboration across departments and research centres.

You may also identify potential supervisors for your research project. Shortlisted candidates will be required to deliver a 5-minute presentation about their proposed PhD research project.
