About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.
This exciting opportunity requires a strong leader who can maximize profit, engage and develop team members, and ensure seamless store operations.
You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve these goals and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maximizing Profit:
o Analyze sales, operations, and digital performance data to identify areas for improvement.
o Implement cost control measures and create a culture of maximizing sales and profit.
o Deliver on agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Engaging and Developing Team Members:
o Support the Store Manager in Talking Shop initiatives and collaborate with the Talking Shop representative.
o Drive team engagement through effective communication and recognition.
o Foster an inclusive culture where team members can thrive.
o Upskill the team using available resources and development opportunities.
o Manage team performance using performance processes and continuous conversations.
* Leadership:
o Lead by example to inspire the team and deliver exceptional customer service.
o Be approachable and respectful to customers and colleagues.
o Work collaboratively to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
o Take full responsibility for store operations, colleagues, and customers in the absence of the Store Manager.
o Communicate effectively and plan ahead to prioritize tasks and activities.

* Proven experience in a retail management role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
