Position: Partnership & Fundraising Officer Pay: £14.96 per hour (£29,172.00 per annum) Location: YMCA Norfolk Offices, Aylsham Road, Norwich with an element of home working Contract Type: Permanent Hours per week: 37.5 hours ​ ​ Help us build partnerships that change lives ​ At YMCA Norfolk, we’re committed to supporting young people to belong, contribute and thrive. We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Partnerships & Fundraising Officer to help grow the support that makes this work possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building connections, developing creative fundraising approaches, and making a genuine difference in their community. ​ ​ The Role ​ As Partnerships & Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in developing sustainable income streams through strong relationships and engaging fundraising activity. You’ll work closely with colleagues, supporters and partners to bring to life opportunities that support young people across Norfolk. ​ ​ ​ What you'll be doing ​ Building meaningful relationships ​ Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, donors and supporters Represent YMCA Norfolk at events, networking opportunities and presentations Driving income and partnerships ​ Identify and grow corporate partnership opportunities Develop compelling proposals, sponsorship packages and engagement offers Research and approach new prospects aligned to our mission Engaging and inspiring supporters ​ Deliver impactful campaigns through storytelling, events and digital content Support major donor and legacy giving activity Help donors understand the real impact of their support Planning and performance Monitor and report on fundraising activity and income Maintain accurate records using CRM systems Contribute to strategic planning and future growth ​ Further information can be found at – Partnership & Fundraising Officer Job Description ​ ​ ​ ​ What we're looking for ​ You’ll be confident, proactive and able to build strong relationships with a wide range of people. You’ll bring: Experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development or a similar role Excellent communication and relationship-building skills The ability to write engaging proposals and presentations Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities A proactive, self-motivated and collaborative approach It would be great if you also have: Experience with corporate partnerships, major donors or legacy fundraising Knowledge of CRM systems and data-led engagement Insight into the local community or fundraising landscape The Organisation At YMCA Norfolk we are hope filled, inspiring and empowering.
