Position Overview: As an Electrical Engineer in our Power Networks team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing and integrating electrical systems across the power generation, transmission and distribution components of offshore renewables projects. Your deep understanding will enable you to contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of these systems, helping pave the way for a greener, brighter tomorrow. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to the design and evaluation of offshore wind power networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform technical studies and simulations to analyse power system behaviour, stability, and performance under varying conditions. Collaborate closely with project teams to develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and project schedules. Provide technical expertise during the construction and commissioning phases of offshore wind projects, supporting the implementation of power network systems. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to power network design, operation, and integration within the offshore wind environment. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in offshore wind power and power systems engineering. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to provide expert insights and recommendations. Develop relationships with clients, identifying and pursuing project opportunities, and / or providing support and direction on tenders and bids. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in the design and analysis of power networks, preferably in the offshore wind sector. In-depth knowledge of power systems modelling, simulation software, and relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE). Proven ability to work on multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to approach challenges from a holistic perspective. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
