Overview
The University of Lincoln’s School of Engineering & Physical Sciences is a diverse community of teaching and research. This post is permanent full‑time (1 FTE) and focuses on developing and delivering cybersecurity modules within undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver core computer‑science modules, with a particular focus on Cybersecurity topics such as information governance, mitigation strategies, network security, attacks and counter‑measures, and cloud security concepts.
* Contribute to the development of new and existing cybersecurity courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Collaborate with the programme leadership team to integrate research and teaching, and promote best practice in cybersecurity education.
* Maintain high teaching standards and continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
* Engage with industry partners to bring real‑world experience into the curriculum.
Qualifications
* PhD or equivalent experience, preferably in computer or information science.
* Strong track record of delivering study modules at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
* Industrial experience in cybersecurity is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and continuous professional development.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
