Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in Irlam to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a real impact, providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a warm, nurturing environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Provide focused support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities
• Help to implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil progress
• Track and report on pupil development, adapting support as required
What We’re Looking For:
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to learning support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Level 2 Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to complete training)
