Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Procurement Manager, primarily based in Loughborough with flexibility for remote work. The Procurement Manager will oversee procurement processes, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to achieve optimal value and cost efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, analyzing purchasing patterns to identify opportunities for improvement, and managing contracts effectively to align with the organization’s priorities and budgets.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Procurement and Contract Management, with a strong understanding of best practices and compliance standards.
* Experience in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation, demonstrating the ability to secure value-driven agreements and foster strong vendor relationships.
* Strong Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making and the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
* Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in procurement, supply chain, or contract management are a plus.
* Experience in the education sector or familiarity with multi-academy trusts is advantageous.
