To Lead and manage the quality of care staff for our young people during night shifts, ensuring the service runs smoothly. You will be a pivotal member of the operational management team, supporting nurses, senior nurses, and the care team at Park Lodge Hospital.
Main Tasks:
* Provide effective night leadership and management of the service under the direction of the Ward or Hospital Manager.
* Lead and support the night staff team, ensuring appropriate allocation, supervision, and clinical oversight.
* Monitor and manage night‑time costs and resources efficiently within budgetary guidelines.
* Uphold regulatory, professional, and company standards, ensuring full compliance through observation and supervision.
* Promote a high‑quality, person‑centred care culture that aligns with company aims and values.
* Ensure timely achievement of positive outcomes arising from regulatory or internal quality processes.
* Foster innovation and continuous improvement in clinical practice, encouraging a culture of learning and change.
* Act as a named nurse, leading on assessment and care planning in partnership with service users and their families.
* Maintain a safe, supportive environment that promotes positive behaviour, engagement, and meaningful activity.
* Provide effective clinical leadership, coaching, and supervision to staff, including appraisals and performance reviews.
* Support the recruitment, induction, preceptorship, and ongoing professional development of nursing and support staff.
* Ensure accurate record keeping, medication management, and adherence to all company policies and safe working systems.
* Manage staff deployment and rota planning to ensure appropriate skill mix and service coverage.
* Build strong working relationships with regulators, commissioners, families, and other key stakeholders.
* Represent the service positively, maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and effective communication with all departments.

The post‑holder will have access to a wide range of confidential
information about patients, staff and the company, which must not be
divulged to any unauthorised person in any circumstances.

Person Specification:
You will need relevant experience as an RMN/RNMH, as well as being a first‑level nurse with evidence of professional development, relevant skills, and knowledge.
Awareness of the wider healthcare economy and political environment, relevant clinical experience in a similar environment, and a proven track record of leadership skills are also required.
Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
