Trent's Drains is a growing business with an expanding workforce and increasing project volume. We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance professional to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is a great opportunity for someone with strong all-round financial expertise who thrives in a hands-on position within a busy, growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage day-to-day finance operations
* Sales invoicing and ensuring accurate, timely billing
* Purchasing and accounts payable management
* Chasing overdue payments and maintaining healthy cashflow
* Timesheet management and auditing for accuracy
* Supporting management with financial reporting and analysis
* Ensuring compliance with internal processes and external requirements
About You:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
* Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers, clients, and staff
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
