GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to work with children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of special educational needs (SEN) in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team that’s committed to transforming the lives of pupils with diverse learning needs.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD, PMLD, and SEMH
Teach across a broad age range (2-19), adapting teaching styles to suit Early Years, Primary, or Secondary-aged learners
Use creative and flexible strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional development
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Monitor progress and write individual education plans (IEPs) in line with EHCPs
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs
Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education
