We are seeking a Senior Consultant in Risk Management, focusing on capital projects risk management. Our team supports multiple clients through Programme Advisory services, including PMO and related services across the region. Our clients require robust advice and risk assurance on their capital projects portfolios, and we are expanding our team.
Our Advisory team focuses on:
* Business Consulting for large-scale Infrastructure, Transport, and Urban Development programs, including policy, institutional, and capability development; strategic planning; business case development; and program scoping and execution.
* Portfolio and Programme Management advisory services to enhance infrastructure project delivery.
* Ideal candidates have experience from Advisory and Consulting firms.
* The role is based in the Middle East region and involves travel. The candidate will work across various industries and clients in Capital Projects environments—Infrastructure & Transport, Governmental and Private sectors, Energy, Cities & Urban Infrastructure—and collaborate with experienced consultants and specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Risk Management capabilities and services for our Capital Projects clients within Programme Advisory engagements.
* Provide enterprise-level risk management, guiding qualitative, quantitative (QSRA & QCRA), and business risk assessments to advise project directors, clients, and sponsors.
* Support Risk Leadership within the risk management practice.
* Implement risk management strategies and frameworks, facilitate risk workshops, and develop policies and procedures.
* Identify and analyze risks and value management interventions, including lessons learned.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
* 7-10 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, with specific risk management expertise.
* Experience in Big 4, consulting, or advisory environments.
* Proficiency in project management (Scope, Risk, Cost, Schedule, Resources) and certifications like Prince2, APM.
* Knowledge of standards such as ISO 31000, COSO, IRM, PMI in Capital Projects.
* Ability to build risk models for complex cost, schedule, and business risks.
Behavioral Skills:
* Strong commitment to risk management and sustainability.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
* Ability to interact with regulators, stakeholders, and clients effectively.
* Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
* Willing to travel within the GCC region.
* Capable of working independently or in teams, under pressure, with strong report-writing and review skills.
