Can you see yourself using your deep STORM expertise to help emergency services solve complex, real‑world challenges? This role gives you the chance to work closely with Police and Fire customers, helping them configure, optimise and evolve the STORM and SmartSTORM platforms that support their 24/7 emergency response.
You will join the STORM Client Solutions function, working at the technical heart of our service. It’s a hands‑on role focused on implementation, troubleshooting and customer consultancy, not documentation. You’ll be the trusted technical point of contact, supporting live operational environments and working with customers as they move toward SmartSTORM CAD.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK, with regular travel to client sites when needed. We can offer great career progression opportunities, benefits that you can flex to suit your needs, and training and development support.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing expert STORM consultancy to Police and Fire customers.
* Configuring STORM systems, interfaces and modules to meet operational needs.
* Acting as the primary technical contact for assigned customers.
* Supporting implementation of SmartSTORM CAD and new system functionality.
* Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in live environments.
* Participating in an out‑of‑hours support rota and acting as a liaison with internal engineering teams.
What you’ll bring:
* Strong working knowledge of the STORM Product Suite and SmartSTORM.
* Experience configuring STORM or related interface modules.
* Understanding of Command and Control or CAD operational environments.
* Experience supporting Police or Fire operational IT systems.
* Knowledge of control room workflows, including incident logging, dispatch and resource management.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability.
It would be great if you had:
* SQL and relational database awareness.
* Understanding of client/server architectures.
* Knowledge of networking and middleware environments.
* Awareness of cloud platforms.
* Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server environments. ITIL Foundation or similar service management experience.
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Security Clearance Level: NPPV3.
Internal Recruiter: Soraya.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Benefits: 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, life assurance, pension, and optional benefits.
