Strategic Administrative Leadership: Act as the Commanding Officers principal advisor on all personnel administration, financial services, staff support, and governance matters. 2. Operational Management of Personnel & Administration: Oversee and optimise the management of all service personnel, ensuring that administrative and financial functions are conducted with precision. 3. Financial Oversight & Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the lead financial officer within the unit, overseeing budget management and expenditure to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability. 4. Governance & Assurance of G1 Services: Provide strategic oversight of all personnel administration and associated G1 services, ensuring governance structures are robust and fit for purpose. 5. Mobilisation & Operational Readiness: Ensure full G1 preparedness for unit mobilisation, ensuring personnel are correctly administered, processed, and equipped for deployment. 6. Data Protection & Compliance: Data Protection Officer, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive information in accordance with MOD security policies and GDPR requirements. 7. Resettlement & Welfare Coordination: Unit Resettlement Officer, providing strategic guidance on transition planning for personnel leaving service, ensuring effective resettlement support. 8. Disclosure & Legal Oversight: Disclosure Officer, ensuring that legal and regulatory obligations concerning classified and sensitive information are upheld with integrity.
