Location: Bradford/Hybrid Working (1 office day a week – Bradford)
Work type: This is a permanent role. Working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Settlement Analyst to join the Wholesale Market Services team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Where you fit in:
Since April 2017 non-household customers in England now have the option to change their water and sewerage retailer in the same way as customers can do for gas and electricity. As a Settlement Analyst working in the Wholesale Market Services team within Yorkshire Water Non-Household Wholesale you will be responsible for the effective billing and collection of non-household wholesale revenue. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a pioneering part of the water industry and to contribute to excellent wholesale performance in the market.
As our Settlement Analyst you will be responsible for a wide range of processes, including –
• Creating & validating Non-Household (NHH) bills
• Managing NHH billing & cash queries
• Collecting NHH cash & allocating payments
• Working effectively with a range of external and internal stakeholders
• Managing NHH credit arrangements
• NHH billing data analysis & reporting
• Reconciling NHH industry data to ensure accurate billing & cash flow
What skills and qualifications you will need?
• It would be advantageous to have experience of billing and cash collection;
• You will have excellent written and numeracy skills;
• You will have experience of using Microsoft Excel for data reporting & analysis;
• You will have the ability to communicate effectively and build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders is essential.
