Key responsibilities:Subcontractor Procurement: Define scope and procurement needs for civils packages with project teams Develop and execute procurement strategies Manage full tender processes (ITTs, RFQs, evaluations, awards) Negotiate subcontract terms (pricing, programme, KPIs, risk allocation) Ensure compliance with client frameworks and governance Monitor committed costs and forecast spend to mitigate financial riskSupply Chain Management: Maintain strong subcontractor relationships and resolve performance/delivery issues Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards Lead supplier relationship meetings and act as escalation point for subcontractor issuesProcess Management & Improvement: Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements Drive best practice procurement and continuous improvement Support ESG objectives through sustainable and ethical sourcing Maintain accurate procurement system records and support auditsPerformance & Representation: Prepare regional procurement performance and risk reports Build strong relationships across project teams, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Share best practices and drive innovation Manage own professional development through networking, conferences, and training

CIPS qualified or actively working towards certification

Knowledge of NEC contracts and civils subcontractor frameworks
Familiarity with ISO standards, ESG compliance, and ethical sourcing practices
Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, construction, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, or food
