Job Title: Storeman Salary: up to £35,000 per annum dependent upon experience shift allowance bonus Location: East Midlands Airport We are looking for a permanent Storeman to join our growing team at East Midlands airport. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, fast paced business. Established 20 years ago, Aeropeople combines Engineering Services (Line Maintenance, CAMO and Aircraft Tool Hire) and Recruitment Solutions. Our talented Engineering Services division is based at London Stansted Airport and East Midlands Airport and is made up of our both Line Maintenance and CAMO teams and combines their numerous EASA and international regulatory approvals. Our MRO tooling and equipment consists of more than 1,600 items in stock. The equipment we have is able to support a number of Boeing and Airbus aircraft and we can provide this on both short and long term leases. This is a full time position, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Flexible working hours are available. Key Responsibilities: * Receive, sign for, issue, inspect, process and safely handle aircraft maintenance related parts, material, equipment and tooling, to include entering data into the inventory management system and processing the associated documentation. * Ensures proper handling of aircraft parts during transactions, shipping, and receiving to avoid damage or operational delays. * Expedites and coordinates the movement of aircraft parts. * Effectively resolve issues as they arise and keep transactions up to date in the system. * Enter line station inventory transactions into the inventory management system. * Package items for shipment and coordinate with shipping agents for pick up; delivery and pick up parts from local vendors/shops as required. * Performs all computer transactions required to maintain an accurate inventory including updating of parts/repair, etc. in our computer system. * Performs administrative functions associated with processing aircraft parts and Company supplies. * Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) and establish relationships with vendors/repair shops. * Ensures proper handling of calibrated equipment and entries into database. * Be the point of contact for our contracted customer co-ordinating all deliveries and despatches.
