About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join our Power Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong background in MATLAB/Simulink who is eager to grow their career within a collaborative and technically challenging environment.
You will work closely with experienced Power Systems Engineers, providing hands-on support across data analysis, testing, and design activities, contributing to innovative projects across the energy and power sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development, simulation, and analysis of power system models using MATLAB/Simulink.
* Support the team with data analysis, reporting, and performance evaluation.
* Contribute to system testing, troubleshooting, and verification activities.
* Provide support in design tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth delivery of technical solutions.
* Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
About You
* Degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related discipline).
* Strong practical knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Eagerness to learn and develop within power systems engineering.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* UK sole nationality is a requirement due to project security considerations.
