Job Opportunity: Legacy and In Memory Manager
Eden Brown Charities is partnering with a West Midlands-based charity to recruit a Legacy and In Memory Manager on an initial 18-month contract.
The Charity's Mission:
To provide patients with outstanding pre-hospital care and lifesaving interventions through helicopter-led emergency medical services (HEMS). The charity aims to save more lives and improve survivors' quality of life by offering a comprehensive, transparent, clinical, and operational helicopter emergency service that adapts to changing patient needs and demands.
The Role
The Legacy and In Memory Manager will develop and implement strategies to maximize gifts in wills and in-memory donations, ensuring a sustainable income stream. Responsibilities include overseeing legacy administration, growing the Free Wills program, stewarding legacy pledgers, and expanding in-memory fundraising efforts. The role involves creating supporter journeys, leveraging audience insights, and targeting campaigns effectively in collaboration with the Individual Giving and Development Lead to enhance marketing impact. Additionally, the manager will work to raise awareness about the importance of wills among a broader audience.
About You
Ideal candidates will have experience in legacy and/or in-memory fundraising within the charity sector, a good understanding of charity legacy administration, probate law, and regulatory requirements. Proven success in developing and executing measurable fundraising plans and experience in line management are essential. The role offers hybrid working, including some homeworking and time at the Head Office near Telford, with regional and Head Office travel required.
