CUCF delivers high-quality participation, health & inclusion, and education programmes to 9,000 children, young people, and adults across the region weekly.
The Emerging Talent Centre represents the top tier of the Women’s and Girls’ Talent pathway at Colchester United, providing female players the chance to train, develop, and compete as part of Colchester United. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist to support first aid responses and our injury prevention and rehabilitation programmes for players aged U10-U16.

The coach must be available at the following times and able to travel to the venue:
* Monday at End Community and Sports Centre, Colchester (CO2 9BG)
* Matchdays during School Holidays
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
* Degree in Sports Therapy with full membership of the Society of Sports Therapy
* Adequate indemnity insurance
* FA Introduction to First Aid in Football
* FA Safeguarding Children certification
* Willingness to complete a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check
* Full Clean UK Driving License
* Experience in sporting physiotherapy environments
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* FA Level 2 Emergency Aid (EFAiF)
* Experience working in Female Football environments
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Develop: Build positive relationships with colleagues, players, and parents/guardians; foster an inclusive, supportive team culture.
* Deliver: Plan and implement age-appropriate, inclusive injury prevention and rehabilitation programmes; support first aid responses during sessions and matches.
* Support: Assist coaches with player-centred care; help players with injury prevention and rehabilitation.
* Collaborate: Work with colleagues, players, and parents to maximize injury prevention and recovery efforts.
* Evaluate: Monitor player development through feedback and biannual reporting.
