Responsibilities
* Implement all relevant procedures described in the Business Management System (BMS) and ensure compliance.
* Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised, and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
* Assist in the internal process and product audits of the Business Management System (BMS).
* Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate.
* Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures for external or internal issues.
* Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
* Reporting to the customer the status of customer claims and ensuring alignment between the customers and Wipac voice
* Update quality documentation and communicate any carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns.
* Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
* Establish and refine quality sign-off instructions, standards, and documentation.
* Report against agreed quality metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Support on quality-related issues with the manufacturing and Wipac team
* Support the scrap reduction programs in line with the business targets.
* Support regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving quality.
* Attend various meeting and action/communicate instructions.
* Produce written reports and make presentations.
* Support the engineering change process ensuring the quality deliverables are met.
* Responsible for customer PPAP submissions to customer and Wipac requirements
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Desirable technical degree minimum HNC.
* Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
* Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
* Commercially aware
* Microsoft Office Predominantly Excel, PowerPoint,
* Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
* Able to communicate and build relationships from shop floor to director level.
