Role: Service Coordinator
Location: Avonmouth
We are looking for an organised and proactive service coordinatorto support our busy service department within the heavy plant / machinery sector. This role is key to ensuring service jobs are logged accurately, engineers are scheduled efficiently, and customers receive a high level of service.
You will act as a central point of contact between customers, field engineers, service control, and the parts team, helping to keep operations running smoothly across multiple depots.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming calls to the main service line and escalate queries where required
* Raise quotations, service work orders, and purchase orders using the company's in-house system
* Schedule and coordinate engineers for routine maintenance and breakdowns across various depots
* Liaise with the parts team to ensure required parts are available prior to engineer site visits
* Maintain daily and weekly Work In Progress (WIP) reports
* Support service control and management with job costing, progress tracking, and completion of service work orders
* Carry out general administration and data entry tasks as required by the business
