We are seeking a Crop Manager to work in International Sales Team. The successful candidate will have autonomy to manage and develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers, both domestically and internationally. You will work to grow high-value key accounts and identify new opportunities for business development. This role requires a proactive, commercially focused individual who can drive growth, strengthen partnerships, and deliver long-term value to the business.
Typical work in this role will include:
· Build a clear understanding of our customer needs to drive vegetable seed sales and strengthen our market position
· Implement strategic plans for the crops and support the Head of International Sales to deliver financial targets
· Source and procure vegetable seed from our established suppliers to ensure a competitive offer for customers
· Lead the development and launch of new products, managing the product pipeline
· Maximise sales opportunities by proactively forecasting and managing stock based on product and market insights
· Work collaboratively with the marketing team to create and execute marketing plans for assigned crops
· Act as the industry-recognised specialist for your crop portfolio, representing Elsoms with authority and expertise in the market
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in sales and key account management. In depth knowledge of the crop industry with an understanding of market trends and dynamics is a bonus.
This job will suit you if you have excellent communication skills, with experience in strategic planning and execution to achieve sales targets.
Willingness to travel frequently both in the UK and internationally is essential.
A full, valid driving license required
