Blossom Lodge Day Nursery is delighted to be recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our Toddler Room (1–2 years) on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday.
This role is ideal for a caring, enthusiastic early years professional who is passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive.
About the Role
* Full-time position working 44 hours per week over 4.5 days
* Supporting, developing, and extending children’s play across the EYFS curriculum
* Creating individual learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs
* Building strong, positive relationships with parents and colleagues
* Recording children’s daily activities and progress using our online portal
What We’re Looking For
* Kind, calm, and caring with a good sense of humour
* Passionate about early years development
* A confident team player with a flexible approach to working hours
* Empathetic to the needs of young children
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a children’s day nursery
* Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to observe, assess, and record children’s progress
* Good IT skills for online learning journals
* Two references required
* Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
