The school caters for pupils with a range of severe and complex learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and sensory impairments.
All teachers at Portfield School are required to teach differentiated lessons to reflect the varying needs of the children in their classroom.
It is essential that teachers would have knowledge of Progression Steps, Early Years and Curriculum for Wales.
It is desired that teachers have knowledge of the ALN Transformation Act.
