RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle a varied residential property caseload, including sales, leasehold, new builds, off-plan purchases, buy-to-let, remortgages, development transactions, Shared Ownership/Help to Buy, and work for high-net-worth clients
Provide practical legal advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring smooth progression from instruction to completion.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other property documents while ensuring compliance with current property law and regulations.
Liaise with lenders, estate agents, surveyors, and other parties to coordinate and resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate records, track case progress, and meet deadlines effectively.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Qualified solicitor (NQ+) with residential property experience, ideally handling a varied caseload of sales, leasehold, new builds, off-plan purchases, buy-to-let, remortgages, and development transactions.
No following required but must have proven strong track record of billing
Exposure to Shared Ownership/Help to Buy schemes and high-net-worth client transactions is desirable.
Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiating skills for contracts, leases, and property documents.
Proven ability to liaise effectively with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other parties to progress transactions.
Excellent organisation, record-keeping, and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
