Overview
An opportunity to join a growing commercial real estate advisory business with an established UK platform and strong international backing. The firm operates a collaborative, entrepreneurial model and is continuing to expand its North West valuation offering, with a particular focus on lender and institutional client work.
This role is suited to an experienced valuer looking to step into a high‑autonomy position with exposure to both delivery and business development.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality valuation work across a range of commercial property sectors, working closely with senior colleagues while maintaining ownership of your own instructions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Undertaking loan security and asset valuations across commercial sectors (industrial, office, retail, etc.)
* Producing clear, accurate, and concise valuation reports for senior review/sign‑off
* Managing instructions independently and efficiently to maximise profitability
* Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external clients
* Supporting the growth of the North West valuation business, including identifying new opportunities
* Collaborating across service lines to contribute to wider client mandates
Candidate Profile
* Proven background in commercial property valuation
* Experience in loan security valuations (highly desirable)
* Track record of working with lenders, investors, or corporate clients
* MRICS (or FRICS) and RICS Registered Valuer
* Strong working knowledge of the RICS Red Book
* Strong report writing and analytical ability
* Commercial mindset with a pragmatic approach to real estate
