Keylite currently sell roof windows to the top House Builders in the UK and have recently launched a new and exciting range of products to the market.
We are seeking a National Account Director for House Builders to drive exponential growth and market share within the UK. This is a pivotal, senior-level role that requires a strategic and commercially-minded professional with a proven track record of success within the construction sector.
As a key leader, you will be responsible for leading strategic relationships with top national accounts and regional house builders. You will engage with design, technical, and commercial teams across the industry to promote our new, exciting product range. This role combines high-level commercial negotiation with leadership and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring our brand is the preferred choice in the market. You will also build and lead a team to deliver on our ambitious business goals.
What you will be doing
* Lead the development and execution of strategic solutions and high-level negotiations with key national accounts to promote and grow the Keylite brand and product portfolio.
* Develop robust joint business plans and undertake full category analysis to maximise profitable growth and market opportunities.
* Serve as the primary commercial liaison between Keylite and its key accounts in the UK.
* Lead, develop, and motivate the Regional House Builder team to support and grow national accounts.
* Indirectly manage and guide the team to expand regional house builder business and cultivate new opportunities
* Act as a key link between Keystone Group House Builder teams and the Keylite management team, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment across the organisation.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to align business plans and deliver on customer commitments.
* Attend various industry events, often involving both evening & weekends.
* National travel will be required as part of the role and regular evenings away from home.
* Manage the performance of your team. Motivate your team. Set challenging Goals and Objectives for your team. Mentor and develop direct and indirect reports. Ensure that the team works in line with regional and company objectives.
* Create and execute Business Development Plans for each key account. These plans should set the direction for sales growth and must align with the national market area strategy.
* Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to drive brand visibility, footfall, and customer satisfaction through strategic campaigns and on-brand experiences.
What we are looking for
* A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within the B2B construction product sales sector, with at least 2 years in a dedicated Key/National Account Management role.
* Proven expertise in high-level negotiation, strategic business planning, and driving profitable growth with key accounts.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute robust joint business plans and perform comprehensive category analysis.
* In-depth knowledge of the UK construction product industry, with a strong understanding of its market dynamics, key stakeholders, and sales channels.
* A solid technical understanding of construction principles, the building sequence, energy assessment, particularly within the roofing sector.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships at all levels, from site managers to director-level contacts.
* Strong presentation and influencing skills.
