A successful and well-established industrial materials business, based in Halifax are currently looking for an experienced sales professional to develop existing business accounts, identify and secure new business opportunities and nurture and build long-lasting profitable working relationships.
Job Description:
This would be a predominantly office-based role focused on account management but the company would expect the successful candidate to actively participate in existing customer visits and attend new business meetings once they are established in their role.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts
2. Identify growth opportunities and put strategies in place to achieve success
3. Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets
4. Actively participate in sales proactivity, including customer visits, under the guidance of the branch manager
5. Deal with incoming enquiries to complete all aspects of the order process
