Role Profile: Head- Convenience Value Proposition

Purpose of the Role:
As the Head of Convenience Value Proposition, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue generation and operational excellence for our non-fuel convenience stores. You will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies to enhance our value proposition, establish alliances, optimize pricing, foster partnerships, and elevate branding and marketing efforts. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and maximizing profitability across our convenience store portfolio.

* Engage with internal teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align strategies and drive cohesive execution, Brand Management and Marketing Teams, Retail Portfolio Development Team, Senior Leadership
* Category Managers, Partners and Alliances.
Primary Accountabilities
Alliance Management:
a) Develop and nurture strategic alliances with key partners to enhance the value proposition of our convenience stores.
b) Negotiate and manage partnerships to optimize pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements.
Operations Excellence:
a) Work closely with Category Managers to ensure operational excellence across all convenience store locations.
b) Leading the Implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
c) Continuously monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Branding and Communication:
a) Drive the branding agenda for our convenience stores, including communication strategies, surveys, and mystery audits.
b) Develop and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
Trade Marketing:
a) Lead the trade marketing efforts to support the development of the retail portfolio at the local level.
b) Develop and execute marketing plans and promotional activities to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
c) Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization and merchandising strategy.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Preferred: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
Experience
•Proven track record of success in a similar role within the retail or convenience store industry.
•Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
