As a Community Childrens Nurse, youll be right at the centre. Not behind a desk. Not confined to a ward. But out in the community meeting children and families in their own homes, where care can be personalised and shaped around what each family needs. You will, of course, need access to transport, as youll be travelling across the borough to deliver this care.
Youll build relationships that go beyond a single episode of care. Youll see the whole picture: the child, the family, the environment, the challenges and the strengths. And youll use your clinical expertise to help them navigate it all with.
