Global Software House – East Midlands
Salary up to 75K + pension, bonus, flex around start/finish times. – 3 days in office
* Do you have a solid background in Django, Python?
* Are you comfortable working in a full stack role with frontend frameworks?
* Have you worked on cloud based solutions, ideally AWS?
Role: A seasoned software developer with over five years of commercial experience in modern Python development, ideally version 3, complemented by at least two years of hands-on frontend development expertise with React or similar frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of application design and microservices architecture, along with experience using cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and relational databases, SQL.
Furthermore, you’ll need solid experience with Agile workflows and contemporary software deployment practices, coupled with excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, an initiative-driven mindset toward achieving measurable outcomes, and authentic enthusiasm for using technology to address practical problems.
Technical environment: Django, Python, PostgreSQL/SQL, PyCharm/VS Code, GitLab, JavaScript / React, CI/CD, AWS, Django REST Framework
