Stockroom Supervisor / Key Holder
Established in 1837, Smith Bradbeer is a reputable family-owned company operating two Department Stores, two Furniture Stores, a Removals & Storage division, and a Furniture Rental service. Our diversified business also encompasses property assets leased to tenants, reflecting our commitment to various sectors. We are excited to welcome a dedicated Stockroom Supervisor to our team at the newly opened Salisbury Department Store. This is a full-time role primarily scheduled from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability.

* Physically fit and capable of overseeing the lifting and movement of stock items and boxes.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and supervision to the stockroom team, ensuring accurate and efficient preparation and labelling of stock items.
* Health and Safety management, fire panel management, Store Health and Safety Audits.
* Unlock store
* Oversee the receipt, verification, and coding of incoming deliveries, maintaining a high level of precision.
* Invoice management .
* Manage the unpacking and meticulous organization of stock for optimal placement on the sales floor.
* Prioritize the timely transfer of stock to the shop floor in accordance with business needs.
* Minimize stock breakages and meticulously record damaged items.
* Execute price changes with accuracy and meticulous attention.
* Lead stock counts and inventory audits, guiding the team in maintaining an up-to-date record of stock levels.
* Offer support and coverage on the sales floor as required, ensuring seamless customer service.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration with suppliers and delivery companies to ensure streamlined operations.
-Be able to work with managers to ensure correct stock flow management.
