Pertemps are working in partnership with Royal Mail to recruit flexible, professional LGV C+E drivers who are willing to relocate for a minimum of 6 weeks to help deliver the forthcoming busy Christmas period.
LGV Class 1 Drivers will be required to trunk both mail and parcels around the Royal Mail network. You will be working to tight schedules, with measured and monitored running times whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety throughout.
This is a vital role within Royal Mail and all Drivers are required to be flexible to work all requested shifts within contract duration.
The project starts from 10th November 2025 running through until 4th January 2026.
Upon successfully completing both security clearance and a driving assessment and to reward those for their willingness to relocate, HGV/ LGV/ Class 1 Drivers will receive:
1. A rota based on any 5 out of 7 days with a minimum of 8 hours daily.
2. A 6th shift will be available wherever legal to complete.
3. Mileage paid from home address (within Scotland, Wales, and England only) to and from the allocated hotel at start and end of assignment at 45pence per mile 1 return trip paid in total.
