Hayward Hawk is partnering with an innovative energy technology business that is scaling its participation across wholesale and flexibility markets. As part of this growth, they are appointing a Product Manager to own the roadmap that connects their platform to live energy trading environments. This is not a feature factory role. This is about enabling real market participation ensuring integrations are compliant, reliable and commercially optimised. You will sit at the intersection of Engineering and Trading, defining what gets built next and why, directly influencing revenue performance and operational integrity. The Opportunity You will take ownership of the Market Access product line shaping how the platform integrates with wholesale markets, balancing mechanisms, ancillary services and emerging flexibility schemes. You will: Define and execute the Market Access roadmap aligned to commercial growth targets Translate trading, regulatory and operational requirements into clear user stories Partner closely with Engineering to deliver robust, scalable integrations Work alongside Trading teams to ensure tooling supports live market participation Interpret regulatory changes and convert them into actionable product outcomes Monitor and optimise success metrics including revenue delivery, settlement accuracy and system uptime This is a role for someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, making prioritisation trade-offs, and owning commercially meaningful decisions. What Were Looking For 3 years in a Product Manager or Product Owner role. Strong understanding of wholesale energy markets, balancing mechanisms and/or ancillary services Experience working directly with Trading and Compliance teams Ability to translate complex regulatory or market rules into structured product requirements Technically fluent and confident engaging with engineering teams Commercially aware, data-driven and decisive Youll likely have experience within an energy supplier, aggregator, system operator or trading function.
