Assistant to Import TDM (North Mediterranean)

We're looking for an Assistant to Import TDM to join our Import North Mediterranean trade team. The successful candidate will support the Trade Development Manager to maintain and grow the Trade. Reporting, quoting and analysis make up the main duties within this role along with maintaining databases and research to retain and develop new customers
Skills and experience you'll bring to us
1. Proven negotiations skills and a confident phone manner with the ability to develop close relationships with customers
2. Communicate with confidence and interact professionally at all levels
3. Excellent O365 skills (excel, word and power point)
4. Ability to produce high quality and accurate statistics
5. Team player with strong work ethic
6. Flexible attitude to working hours to meet deadlines with proven time management
How you will help us and what you can expect
7. Establish and maintain good client relationships
8. Pricing quotations & Tenders
9. Maintain and/or update specials rates and Tariffs
10. Provide statistical market analysis
11. Client & Geneva visit preparation including presentations
12. Maintain/Produce Daily vessel and Booking reports
13. Work closely with Trade and Sales to proactively retain and grow accounts, including any research and development required, mindful of contribution toward overall Trade revenue targets
14. Identify and promote attractive business opportunities to Trade
15. Ensure all Trade and Geneva reports are produced accurately within agreed KPI’s
16. Ensure freight rates and landside charges are accurately captured and filed within Tariff Management Systems
17. Strong communication and liaison across the Commercial teams and the wider business to ensure operational support
