The Role – Year 4 Teacher – Preston, Lancashire
The successful Year 4 Teacher in Preston, Lancashire will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class within a one-form entry primary school. As a Year 4 Teacher in Preston, Lancashire, you will be expected to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
This Year 4 Teacher in Preston, Lancashire role involves:
1. Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation and marking.
2. Delivering high-quality teaching across the lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.
3. Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
4. Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback in line with school policies.
5. Working collaboratively as part of a one-form entry staff team.
The school are seeking a confident and experienced lower Key Stage 2 practitioner. Due to the nature of the role and the level of responsibility required, this position is not suitable for ECTs as the school are unable to provide the necessary induction support. The ideal Year 4 Teacher in Preston, Lancashire will have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 and a strong understanding of Year 4 expectations.
