We are working with a growing and successful insurance firm, and they are looking for support with a 2–3-month fixed contract for a Talent Mapping Systems Project.
This is a hybrid role – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
This role would be ideal for either a seasoned talent acquisition / in-house recruiter who is familiar with the commercial insurance industry, or alternatively an individual that has worked within the insurance sector in a business operations, HR, or administration role. Having good knowledge of the insurance industry is essential for this role.
Reporting into the HR Business Partner the focus of the project is to source information and update their internal talent system with current and historical employee / role profile information. This will involve not only updating the system but collating and gathering relevant information from stakeholders across the business. Key duties will include;
* Review and update a high volume of previous and current employee information / talent data, to determine completeness and accuracy of information
* Arrange and book meeting with managers and key stakeholders to gather information for the systems project
* Liaise with HRBPs and business stakeholders to clarify missing or ambiguous data.
* Accurately input role information into Workday, ensuring consistency with established data standards.
* Ensure roles are correctly mapped to organisational structures, job families, levels, capabilities, and expectations
* Identify gaps, patterns, or inconsistencies in legacy data and escalate where required.
* Support data cleansing and quality improvements to ensure Workday remains a reliable source of organisational talent data.
* Provide regular progress updates to the HRBPs and Group Head of HR.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of the data-capture process and suggest refinements to the Talent Pipeline Questionnaire as needed.
For this role candidates will need to have a good knowledge of the insurance industry, common insurance roles, and the key data points required for robust talent and job architecture frameworks.
As this role will be a mix of updating information and also gathering information via meetings direct with line managers and stakeholders, strong administration, accuracy plus communication and people skills are essential. Knowledge of Workday or similar HRIS system would be an advantage.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing and well-established business to work on a key project in the business, where you will work autonomously and liaise with stakeholders across the business.
