Hays are working with a large Manufacturing business in Telford on an exclusive basis who are seeking a pragmatic and experienced HR coordinator to join a growing team within a dynamic, fast-paced organisation. This is a hands-on, business-facing role supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable HR foundations, coaching leaders, and improving the employee experience as the business continues to grow.
Your new role
As a HR Coordinator, your role will involve:
1. Provide first-line HR support across employee relations, performance, absence, and workforce planning.
2. Manage and improve core HR processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
3. Coordinate recruitment activities including agency management, interviews, and offer processes.
4. Support the rollout of global HR programs, policies, and tools, ensuring local relevance andpliance.
5. Maintain and standardise HR documentation, templates, and manager toolkits.
6. Contribute to the implementation of a new global HRIS and help streamline manual processes.
7. Monitor employment lawpliance and proactively identify and mitigate people risks
What you'll need to succeed
8. Minimum 5 years’ generalist HR experience, including strong employee relations and recruitment exposure.
9. CIPD level 3 or 5
10. Proven ability to coach and support managers at all levels.
11. Excellentmunication, judgement, and stakeholder management skills.
12. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environments is advantageous.
13. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word).
