Job title: Degree Apprentice Software Engineer
Location: Samlesbury and Warton
Salary: Starting from £23,748 with annual progression through the scheme duration
What you'll be doing:
* The scheme involves working alongside experienced software engineers.
* It combines day release at university with a Honours Degree, and time working on real projects to develop software engineering skills.
* Through study and real work, you will become capable of writing requirements, designs, software code and tests.
* The placement element includes activities such as developing and testing aircraft displays, producing ground‑based equipment, and creating training simulators.

Qualification requirements
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4/A
* 3 A-levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above, with Maths and a Science/Technical subject. Alternatively, an equivalent Level 3 vocational qualification worth a minimum of 96 UCAS points.
Additional information
Please note you must not book any annual leave within the first 3 months of your apprenticeship. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager.
