VINCI Building
is excited to offer an opportunity for a
Social Value Coordinator
to join our team in the Northwest region, based out of our Widnes office. This role involves coordinating and supporting the delivery of social value across projects, working closely with project teams and supply chain partners, ensuring that initiatives align with client KPIs, community needs, and the company's ethos of collaborative delivery. Responsibilities:


• Research local social value priorities at tender stages, engaging with stakeholders and community data to inform submissions and support the Social Value Manager.


• Foster partnerships with local authorities, schools, charities, job centres, and community organisations across the Northwest.


• Support the creation of tailored programmes to meet client KPIs (e.g. employment schemes and education programmes)


• Coordinate the delivery of social value programmes across regional sites, working with supply chain partners and site teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and community needs.


• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to map out social value initiatives.


• Work with local job centres and employment groups to support local people into work on our projects.


• Coordinate work placements with site teams and colleges, presenting opportunities to learners across the region.


• Organise events such as charity fundraisers, 'Meet the Buyer' days, and career workshops.


• Support the design and rollout of educational activities, including, mentoring sessions and construction management career resources.


• Support colleagues to confidently deliver social value activities, such as education presentations, employment fairs, and community engagement sessions.


• Support Social Value Champions executing social value activities.


• Ensure all social value activities are accurately recorded and tracked using internal and external platforms (e.g. Fieldview and Social Value Portal).


• Lead meetings with stakeholders (in-person and online) to arrange new activities and monitor existing plans.


• Support internal and external presentations with the Social Value Manager to senior leaders and stakeholders.


• Generate case studies and success stories to communicate impact to clients and stakeholders.


• Attend framework and local authority social value meetings to represent the company.

Requirements:

* Educated to A Level or equivalent
* Competent in MS Office Suite
* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
* Confidence presenting to audiences and supporting others to engage in public-facing activities
* Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including local authorities, schools, charities, and supply chain partners
* Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals
* Previous experience coordinating or supporting community engagement, social value, or CSR initiatives is desirable
* Full UK driving licence
