The Red Barn is an idyllic 16th-century barn, with a very good reputation for fresh food, weddings and other functions. With plenty of parking and 3 separate outdoor areas the pub is a big attraction for everything from family celebrations to date nights, corporate meetings to weddings we can accommodate it all in the beautiful setting that is the Red Barn.
The pub is the heart of the community and we want to expand the team that we have to grow the business further.

What we look for in a Commis Chef:
We are looking for an existing Commis Chef, an excellent Kitchen Porter or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who consider themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Commis Chef you will:
9. Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
10. Have high standards and a great work ethic
11. Show willingness to learn new skills; be an active team player with excellent communication skills
12. Working alongside your kitchen team; you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
13. Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
