About the role
Step into a vital role within the fast‑paced and ambitious Waitrose Commercial team, where you will impact strategic decision‑making and drive significant performance improvements. As a Commercial Reporting Analyst, you will transform complex data into robust analysis, critical insights, and powerful recommendations for the team. With a relentless focus on our customers, the market and our branches, you will be instrumental in two key areas: establishing and continuously refining our regular performance reporting, and carrying out analytical insight projects that identify key drivers, risks and commercial opportunities.
* Salary - £62,000 – £78,000 depending on experience
* Contract type - Permanent contract
* Working pattern/flexible working - Hybrid approach: 3 days per week in the office to connect with the team, with flexibility to work from home based on personal needs and business requirements.
* Location - Bracknell Head Office
* Interviews - Interviews scheduled W/C 1 June 2026 in person at the Bracknell Head Offices.

* Ensure the reporting is completed on reliable datasets to a high quality, working closely with experts across the Partnership to provide stakeholders with the information they need to drive performance improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience You'll Need
* Experience in automation (Javascript/Google Apps Script, VBA, XML) and advanced data management and manipulation (SQL, BigQuery).
* Proficiency in Google Apps (particularly Sheets) and Excel.
* Proficiency in Tableau.
* Experience demonstrating an ability to identify performance improvements.
* Data analytics and distillation to insight.
