Role Overview
In this role, you will:
* Advise clients on all aspects of social housing, governance, and property law
* Handle tenancy disputes, possession claims, and breaches of tenancy
* Provide guidance on compliance, regulatory obligations, and sector best practices
* Support clients with legal challenges including ASB issues, land disputes, and policy queries
* Lead and mentor junior members of the team, helping to develop their skills and knowledge
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the practice and client relationships
* Represent clients in court and assist with regulator or ombudsman inquiries
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
* Solid experience in Social Housing litigation and governance
* A strong understanding of regulatory and charity law within the sector
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, practical legal guidance
* Experience in managing, mentoring, or developing team members
* Commercial awareness and the ability to manage a profitable caseload
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to evolving legal requirements
