We’re now looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager to take ownership of our paid media function, someone who thrives on performance, can manage day-to-day execution across Meta and Google, and has the experience to guide both strategy and team delivery.
The Role
As Senior Paid Media Manager, you’ll lead the performance output across all paid channels.
You’ll manage the planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns across Meta, Google, and emerging platforms, ensuring results are commercially aligned with client growth objectives.
This is a hands-on leadership role, you’ll still be in the ad accounts, but you’ll also mentor and manage a small team (starting with one direct report), own performance reporting systems, and act as the senior voice of Paid Media in client reviews.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Media Strategy & Planning
* Build full-funnel paid media strategies aligned with client KPIs, budget, and profitability goals.
* Define and maintain cross-channel media plans across Meta, Google, and TikTok (where relevant).
* Support forecasting and quarterly planning alongside the Founder and Account Management team.
* Contribute to client pitches and onboarding with performance insights and media projections.
2. Campaign Management & Optimisation
* Lead the hands-on setup, management, and optimisation of Meta and Google campaigns.
* Drive continual testing, audiences, formats, creative variants, and bidding strategies.
* Collaborate with creative and content teams to brief and review ad assets based on data trends.
* Maintain channel best practices and ensure consistency in structure, naming, and reporting.
3. Performance Tracking & Insights
* Own live tracking sheets, dashboards, and pacing reports (via Supermetrics / Looker Studio).
* Monitor spend, revenue, and efficiency metrics daily, adjusting where required.
* Deliver weekly insight summaries and monthly performance decks for client calls.
* Translate data into actionable recommendations to inform creative and CRM activity.
4. Conversion Optimisation & Landing Pages
* Conduct regular site and funnel audits to identify performance bottlenecks.
* Collaborate with design/development to implement landing page improvements.
* Ensure paid traffic experiences align with CRO and performance best practices.
5. Team Management & Collaboration
* Line manage the Paid Media Manager (Meta), providing mentorship, QA, and feedback.
* Set weekly priorities and oversee task delivery across all paid accounts.
* Foster collaboration with the Creative, CRM, and Client Services teams to ensure integrated delivery.
* Support resourcing and hiring decisions as the performance team grows.
6. Client Communication & Leadership
* Join client meetings and QBRs to present performance updates and recommendations.
* Communicate complex data clearly, focusing on commercial outcomes and next steps.
* Act as the go-to paid performance contact for key accounts.
About You
* 4-6 years of hands-on paid media experience (agency or brand-side).
* Proven success managing large-scale Meta and Google Ads campaigns (up to £100K+ monthly spend).
* Strong analytical and commercial mindset, comfortable with forecasting, pacing, and profitability.
* Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
* Skilled in Google Sheets, Looker Studio, and Supermetrics.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations.
* Passion for DTC and eCommerce, you understand how ads, content, and conversion all connect.
