Macildowie are working with an established business within the Manufacturing industry looking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager.
Good knowledge and experience of capital equipment sales is a must. A technical/engineering background is highly desirable. Detailed product training and support will be given. Reporting to the Sales Director, working from a home base, the role will require sales management of the South of England.
Key responsibilities:
* Existing customer account and relationship management.
* Sales growth & business development with new customers.
* Organising & managing customer machine demonstrations.
* Occasional attendance at industry related exhibitions
* Providing detailed, clear technical guidance & justifications to potential customers.
* Preparing sales documentation including quotations, sales orders and order acknowledgements.
* Final negotiation and closing of sales.
* Achieving sales targets.
* Continual & accurate sales forecasting with established CRM system.
* Continual update of MSS CRM contacts.
* Support for PR, regular direct marketing and social media work.
