QSHE Coordinator
* Annual Salary: £37,500
* Location: Crewe, Cheshire
* Job Type: Full-time 37 hours a week (days)
We are working with a globally renowned manufacturer to join their team as a QSHE Coordinator and contribute to delivering high-quality parts to our customers. This will predominantly working out of the businesses workshop responsible for fabricating steel based products notably Seals, Gaskets and Valves
This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Quality Assurance: Implement systems to ensure the delivery of quality parts to customers on time.
* Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and resolving quality issues.
* Risk Management: Develop and implement policies and training to minimize the risk of associate injuries.
* Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company security policies and procedures.
* Audits: Conduct internal and supplier audits to enhance systems and ensure consistent quality.
* Training: Coordinate and conduct supplier training on quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems.
Special Circumstances:
* Multitasking: Prioritise tasks and coordinate efforts across departments in a fast-paced environment.
* Travel: Occasionally travel to other facilities, customers, and suppliers.
* Collaboration: Obtain cooperation from individuals reporting to other managers using effective communication and project management skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing Management, or equivalent work experience.
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP software (training provided).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Confidence, self-motivation, and a drive to succeed.
* Ability to travel occasionally overnight and/or internationally.
* Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Standards (ISO 14001 and 45001).
* Certified lead auditor or internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (desirable).
* NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Environmental Management Certificate.
* Experience in industrial plant operations, preferably in a similar industry.
* Knowledge in Quality Management Systems (QMS) with specific knowledge in ISO 9001/2015 version.
