We are seeking hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our team and support day-to-day warehouse activities.
Role Overview:
The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for handling, organizing, and moving goods within the warehouse. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials.
* Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
* Load and unload vehicles using manual handling or equipment (if trained).
* Maintain stock levels, update records, and report discrepancies.
* Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
* Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet truck) where required.
* Follow company health & safety standards and procedures.
* Support team leaders and supervisors with day-to-day warehouse operations.
Skills & Competencies:
* Good physical fitness and stamina.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to different warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
* Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential).
* Forklift or pallet truck license (advantage, but training can be provided).
* Basic IT skills for stock recording and reporting.
* Minimum high school/secondary education.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
