Service Technician Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled ServiceTechnician to support the testing, diagnosis, and repair of handheld electro-mechanical devices. This is a hands-on workshop-based position where you will troubleshoot faults, identify root causes, and complete high-quality repairs to ensure equipment is returned to customers in excellent working order.
Working within an engineering-led environment, the ServiceTechnician will collaborate closely with technical specialists and production teams while maintaining strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, safe, and accurate repairs.

Service Technician Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose faults on handheld electro-mechanical instruments and testing equipment.
* Perform component-level repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
* Conduct functional testing to verify successful repair and calibration.
* Work from repair instructions, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
* Maintain accurate repair records and follow workshop processes.
* Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards.
* Collaborate with engineers to support continuous improvement and recurring fault analysis.

Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant proven experience in a similar repair or maintenance role.
* Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
* Fault-finding experience across electrical and mechanical components.
* Previous exposure to workshop or service/repair environments desirable.
